What is Authority?
Authority is the right to command and obeyed. Mark 11:23.There is no duplicity in God’s word, if he did not say it, he won’t mean it.
It is the delegated power of the resurrected Christ to the believer. The reason why Jesus did was able to do what he did, was not just because he had power but because he had authority.
- When you see a believer oppressed by the devil, it not because of the strength of the devil but because they lack an understanding of the authority they have.
- It is only those that understand they have delegated authority that can function the same way He does.
- God doesn’t give us power for curiosity; He gives us power to function. 2 Corinthians 10:6
- The office on which authority functions is the office of submission. You don’t function by authority when you walk in disobedience
It is the ability to enforce your right and privileges as a believer. How you use your authority is with the spoken word. Ecc 8:4
- Every manifestation of sickness is a sign that the devil is at work… to be continued
