Possessing The Seven Mountains Of Society II

Seven-Mountains1

Worship!

His presence!

The experience!

Tears streamed down his face as he lay face down singing ‘Great are you Lord’. He wasn’t just the only one overwhelmed by His presence. The crowd was ecstatic, the atmosphere different and filled with unknown tongues. It seemed like His Shekinah glory filled the house like it did thousands of years ago in Solomon’s temple.

As pastor Emeka Nwokike mounted the pulpit and spoke on “taking and possessing the seven mountains”. He quickly brought out his word note and took highlights…

  • It is in the place of confession that the promises of God materialise
  • The destination of every human being’s life according to the plan of God is a good destination
  • Your good success is tied to your obedience
  • Anything that encourages Godlessness is not of God
  • Grace is both an enabling force and a redemptive force
  • It is in God’s principle that my potential is maximized, that my destiny blossom
  • Every new day is a proof that God loves you
  • Sin has a blinding effect.
  • Don’t be living in sin and then be demanding God to bless your disobedience
  • The gospel is not just for the redemption of mankind. It is for the redemption of society.

The state of any society depends on the state of the 7 sectors/mountains of the society. They are

  1. Media
  2. Education
  3. Celebration (Entertainment, Sports, Arts & Culture)
  4. Religion
  5. Government
  6. Economy
  • In every oppressive government, one of the things you will find is the restriction of dissemination of information
  • It is not Christians that advance the kingdom, it is kingdom minded Christians that operate with kingdom principles
  • We can be in a good church but there have to be good schools for the next generation to survive.
  • Economy drives ideas. There is no move that can progress, without financial backing
  • The purpose of wealth is for advancing the kingdom of God
  • If the family fails, the problem of the society becomes the child that was not raised well.
  • The first place the father heart of God’s love is revealed is in the family

Today, he got a compass for his destiny. He came to the church unequipped but he was living with tools to empower him take territories in his sphere of influence. He left counting the days! Next Sunday is another time!
