THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Quote of the day

The first reason you should thank God has nothing to do with circumstances. The first reason is because of who he is. The circumstances of life do not alter the personality of God.- Pastor Emeka Nwokike.

Psalm 100:1-5

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.(NKJV)

Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.(NKJV)

Yay!!! Its praise and worship Sunday!!! Today’s service was an EXPERIENCE. Indeed in his presence there is fullness of joy and praises forevermore. Pre service prayers was led by brother Chikwado. This created an atmosphere for the unusual presence of God we encountered today.

Awesome praise session was led by sister Oge and we danced and danced and danced!!!

Psalm 136:1-12

Again sister led the church in another session of praise

Isaiah 48: 12-17

The song

“Lion of Judah,

Lamb upon the throne

We hail thee

Most high”

Was led by brother Mamus as he took the church into the realm of worship

And the church worshiped

With lifted hands

And open hearts

Bended knees

Bringing thanks

Overwhelmed by his presence (insert image)

And his love (insert image)

As we sang Nathaniel Bassey’s “casting crowns”

Psalm 103:2-3

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,(NKJV)

Eternity is not enough to sing your praise. It is not enough to worship you.(insert image)

Pastor Emeka Nwokike said a prayer of thanksgiving and the church worshipped in Chris Morgan’s “lavish my love on you”

The MVP’s were welcomed.

And we shared the grace.
