Why do you Worship God?

We have all heard that God is a great God. We have all heard that God can do all things. But our Pastor has been able to show us the one thing that God can never do for Himself – that one need that he craves from men – and which, when He finds it from a man, can leave everyone else just to fellowship with the man from which He gets that which He craves.

The one thing that God can never do for Himself is to worship Himself.

For instance, from the passage in 1 Samuel 13:14, we see Saul – a King that God raised from nothing and set on the throne. But then, after a while, he forgot the God that raised Him up, and became stubborn.

God said He had found David, a man after His own heart. God went looking for David, because he had a heart that was crying after God.
